Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is a great book. Edmund, Peter, Lucy, and Susan are my favourite characters in this book. The story is about children who travel to a mysterious land known as Narnia. They meet new people. Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, and King Aslan (Lion). The white witch was their most hated person; she was responsible for Narnia only having winter. The children and Aslan, the strong lion who is the king of Narnia, try to reclaim their place and help Aslan in regaining his throne. The children become Aslan’s warriors and fight for Narnia.
This book taught me how to make good friends and stay close to my brothers and sisters. I also learned to pay attention to others. Edmund didn’t listen to his brother at first, but he eventually realised it was the right thing to do. I liked the fight between the brothers and the white witch because it was a battle between good and evil. I learned to help others in difficult situations who are in need, just as the children helped Aslan.
I recommend that you read this book to learn what happens when you don’t listen to others. If you don’t get what I’m saying, read the book and everything will make sense. In my opinion, this book is not only for children but also for adults because it is a fantasy, and many children and adults enjoy fantasy as much as I do. When you first start reading this book, you may think it is boring, but if you keep reading and understanding it, you will enjoy it and want to read more and more.
