Lionel Messi’s Room in Qatar University Will Become a Mini-Museum
Qatar University (QU) has announced that the room where Argentine player Lionel Messi stayed during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be converted into a small museum.
During the La Albiceleste’s 29-day tournament, the university campus served as their base camp, with some Argentinian touches to make the players feel comfortable.
In a new video released by QU, the campus is decked out in blue and white, with posters of World Cup champions, autographs, and jerseys adorning the halls.
In addition to the indoor gym for women, Qatar University had opened three sports complexes for the team to practice outdoor sports.
