A Series Of Unfortunate Events; The Grim Grotto

How would you feel if your parents were killed in a fire? Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire are three orphans in The Grim Grotto. They are alone on a raft in this story because they are always trying to escape from Count Olaf, their very evil uncle. The children have many adventures while attempting to escape Count Olaf’s clutches. Count Olaf is only interested in their enormous fortune.

Violet interested me because she is a fantastic inventor. Something appeared in the water while the children were floating on the raft. This reminds me of the ocean and how terrifying it must be. Klaus reminds me of myself because he and I both enjoy reading. This book is fascinating because Lemony Snicket writes in an unusual but unique style. My favourite part of the story was when Violet, Klaus, and Sunny ran into Count Olaf because they were always trying to get away from him. Do you believe he will ever get the the enormous fortune? You must read the story to find out.

This is a book I would recommend. So, if you enjoyed my review and want to read the rest of the story, go to your local library or bookstore today!
