The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

This book is a compilation of Sherlock Holmes’ cases. The title is rather intriguing because it seems as if though Sherlock goes on an adventure through his mind. My favourite character is Dr Watson, Sherlock’s assistant in his cases, as he tries to solve it along with Sherlock, but sometimes gets it wrong, and Sherlock explains his train of thought to him. The plot is not really there, as it just shows Sherlock solving a variety of cases. It is interlocking short stories, not a long story. Sherlock is very intriguing as well because he notices little details in everyone: stains on their clothes, mud on their boots, etc, and can deduct things about them from that.
