About Us

Doha Kids is a website dedicated to all children living in Qatar. It is an initiative of a team of school-going children who got together to develop a website where children would be able to learn, exchange knowledge, showcase their skills and talent and have loads of fun.

Doha Kids acknowledges the support of all the children and parents who contribute their time and effort to making it successful. We are also grateful for the generous support provided by our corporate and business partners.

Editors

NUBAIR HUSSAINCo-Founder and Creative Director
Nubair is an A Level student who created and designed this website for children living in Qatar and worldwide to share their art and literary work for recognition of their creative talents. His role as a Creative Director requires planning, researching and commissioning of original content, managing submitted contributions and leading the editorial processes along with the team. 
ZOYA HUSSAIN – Editor
Zoya is a 12 year old, year 8 student who manages, designs and copy writes for the website. She works in collaboration with Editor-in-Chief for planning new stories and projects, contributing artwork, book reviews and videos to build new and original content on a daily basis. She also delegates and manages the team for efficient operation of the website.
SAKINA HASSAN – Associate Editor
Sakina is an 11 year old, year 6 student who works as an associate to the managing editor. She is responsible for assigning tasks to writers and artists for their contributions. She also copyedits, modifies and contributes art and literary work for the website.
CHAE SONG YUN – Editor
Chae is an 11 year old, year 7 student who is an assistant to the editorial team. She is responsible for proof reading and reviewing writing/video links to ensure accuracy of the content.
JANET PLUMMER – Editor
Janet is a 14 year old, year 9 student who liaises with the editorial team to communicate with the writers and artists for content submissions. She follows and researches current events and news for publication.
